WHAT IF YOU ONLY HAD 33 MINUTES TO LIVE?
This web series is a cautionary tale set against the uncertainty following the recent summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un, the abnegation of the Iran Nuclear Deal, and the dim prospects for the renewal of soon-to-expire US-Russia nuclear accords as the US, Russia, and even China rush to modernize their nuclear weapons arsenals.
The title of this 12-minute web-series pilot "33 Minutes To Live" reflects the time it takes for a nuclear armed missile to travel from North Korea to the American heartland (travel times from Russia are slightly shorter).
In the tradition of classic nuclear war-related films "On The Beach", "Hiroshima, Mon Amour", "and "La Dolce Vita", this is a drama about ordinary people faced with nuclear Armageddon, we want to entertain and promote peace by asking the question “What If”?
On the following pages you’ll find information about the amazing cast and crew that created the web-series pilot. We’ll also post important and thought-provoking news related to nuclear war-related issues for the nine nuclear-armed governments.
Perhaps most importantly, over time, you’ll also begin to find information about plans to turn this web-series pilot, which began as a class project for a Chapman University advanced video production workshop in the Summer of 2017, into a web-series or even into a one-hour serialized television drama, in the style of the popular “24” television series."
